Something rattling around in steering wheel boss

Something's come free inside my steering wheel on my 996.

Sounds like a screw or broken off bit of plastic.
All the sticks seem to work properly, so think it's only a nuissance.

Should I need to do something special to remove the airbag cover (like disconnect power) before removing the 2 screws behind the steering wheel, or is the UXB thing just a myth?

Damn airbag cover is held on with two torx headed screws (used a dentists mirror to confirm) but need long shank bits that I'm gonna have to buy.
Anyone know what bit size they are so I only have to buy one?
