Having looked around, I’ve stumbled on this.

It’s a one owner car. Having looked into the issues, what should be the main points to check? Regarding the wiring loom(engine bay), can you do anything about it or see if it’s affected? Also 5 speed, so 30mpg motorway?

Like I mentioned on your other thread, rust is your main enemy on the W124 - it's difficult to see the condition of the wings but that's where they go first.

There is huge knowledge of these cars on that thread with several owners, including one chap who owns 52 Mercs from that period!!
