The time of purchase is getting close 3-4 weeks away. I'm praying a chameleon orange MK1 shows up, i've only ever seen one for sale and that seems to have disapeared from the classifieds. No (rather anyoying) "sold via piston heads" tag, just disapeared. Anybody know of any for sale?

There's always the option of having one sprayed. They're an easy car to paint as far as door shuts etc. A good paint shop could make it look like that's the way it was built much easier than traditional cars.

Did think about that, but i recon a good job would be 6k, and would still need to change the interior to match...another 1.5k
