Things you should’ve done but haven’t

I’m not talking about turning the TV off but significant things you’ve never done that surprise you or others.

I’ve never been to Vegas yet it appears the sort of place I’d really enjoy.

I’ve never had a fight. I don’t want to and I’ve not fled from potential set toos but I’ve never thrown a punch in anger.

Never had a threesome. Anecdotally it seems pretty common. Never happened to me.

There’s my three random never dones. Any other offers?

I’ve never been to Scotland. We were on holiday close to the border once and my father drove us there. He said “there’s Scotland. We arnt going there today” and turned around and drove off.

He isn’t an odd man usually so this has stuck in my mind.

Never seen any Star Wars film.

Never been out of Europe.

Never owned a Ford.

Never had a Facebook account.

Never had a loan or been in debt (apart from a mortgage!).

Never had a child (...that I know of).

Done a few of the things above and many of those I shouldnt have done but..... no regrets coyote.

Never done drugs.

Never seen a handgun, would like to just because I like good engineering.

Never been in love, but still miss my ex wife, I should have had some closure there.

Should have moved to America years ago but didnt.

Raced motorcycles when I was in my early 20s but never won anything.

Went out with Gillian Duxbury for one evening, but didnt.

OP - I seriously doubt it’s common that people have had a threesome. I don’t know a single person that has.

I don't consider myself 'adventurous' but somehow have done all three.

• Vegas - hated the place, full of (international) chavs, don't want to do it again.

• Lots of (typically football-related) fights when I was younger, fun then, but haven't had a proper one for 20 years+. Have smacked a couple of people in the intervening period, they both utterly deserved it.

• The threesome is way more common than you might imagine, alcohol typically plays a big part. I thought it was brilliant. Not sure if it still happens at my age though.

Never done drugs or smoked. Might use CBD in the future if my health demanded it. Will try cigars in my 80s as I do like the smell.
