I've not seen it done with lasers, and not in complete darkness either, but Bournemouth Air Festival has "Night Air"...

Fantastic ! Spent an hour in the City of Lincoln when I was about 15 and that brings back memories. Not flying unfortunately !

It was very original in 1983 - when I first saw Charly Zimmerman carry out such manoeuvers in the Bolkow Bo105.

The Canberra/B-57 was notoriously difficult to handle if one engine failed.

The interesting thing is that the pilot in the clip seemed to handle it OK up until the landing but then tried to go around.

Is it true more crew were killed practicing single engine landings than there were genuine engine failures?
