trumps completely backed down from gun controls saying there's not much political support. Just reality show rhetoric again from the blusterer in chief.
He changed his mind after two meetings with the NRA. I wonder if that money they pumped into his campaign was mentioned, and possibly the source of that money would be embarrassing for him? Of course that would only work for someone who could be blackmailed.....

Watch PA tonight. The GOP have poured millions into this race, Trump was there rallying for Saccone Saturday, Junior was there yesterday. Trump took this district by 20 points in 2016, it's prime steel and coal Trump territory. If Conor Lamb wins it will be massive for the democrats and a very bad sign for congressional republicans who all face re-election in November. If Saccone wins easily it will be a good sign for the GOP and bad for dems. It's a real bellwether.

Trump may have been there but just shamelessly self promoted himself, not Saccone
Then he slagged off the candidate to others as being a week candidate.

Lamb was ahead 51% to 45%

Doesn't matter.

What matters is that he'll be able to argue that he was FOR more gun control and AGAINST more gun control. Knowing him he'll do it in the same interview and possibly even in the same sentence. And his supporters will happily continue to swallow the horsest..

What the Dems should be worrying about is that "Prime steel and coal" territory should never have been Trump territory in the first place, and they don't seem to have answered the question "WHY did Trump win by 20%"? Saccone winning at all means that Trump is still retaining the core support 1 year into his car crash presidency. To put it another way, how can he be so patently incompetent and still be in with a chance?

So if saccone wins, Trump will take the credit, and of Saccone loses, Trump will have been proven right. And in either scenario Trump gains a lot of adulation. That's what he lives for.

So a win-win-win.

Trump has fired Rex Tillerson.

Mike Pompeo, Director of the CIA, will become our new Secretary of State. He will do a fantastic job! Thank you to Rex Tillerson for his service! Gina Haspel will become the new Director of the CIA, and the first woman so chosen. Congratulations to all!

Huckerbee-Sanders is probably crying into her 4th vodka of the morning, trying to work out how to spin this...

But you know, he gets the best people with so much winning....

His nomination for CIA Director is a career spook by looks of it so she may understand the agency a little better and the need for dark and light in certain areas and not in others. i give her 6 months rofl

Yep. It seems Tillerson was sacked on Friday. So he knew he could say what he wanted with no come back and give Donald a quick stab in the back on the way out.

And what better way to do that than by upsetting Trumps boss in Moscow?

Another one bites the dust.

WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump’s personal assistant, John McEntee, was escorted out of the White House on Monday, two senior administration officials said. The cause of the firing was an unspecified security issue, said a third White House official with knowledge of the situation.

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders declined to comment saying, “We don’t comment on personnel issues.” Mr. McEntee didn’t return a call seeking comment.

Mr. McEntee was one of the longest-serving aides to Mr. Trump, dating back to the earliest days of the campaign when some of the only aides around the then-candidate included Jared Kushner, the president’s son-in-law and senior adviser; Stephen Miller, the president’s policy director; White House communications director Hope Hicks, who announced her resignation two weeks ago; and Dan Scavino, who is the White House director of social media.

I'm surprised Tillerson was fired thought he was untouchable after the "moron" comment last year , I fully expect to see some more heads roll today and tomorrow
