Interesting thread.

I see that Emma Wray has been mentioned. She often crops up on threads like this on other forums.

My offering is Sarah Smart, a very underrated actress in my opinion. She is probably best remembered for her role in At Home With The Braithwaite's. She had a lead role in Jane Hall and later starred in Wallander with Kenneth Branagh.

The last time I saw her was in a minor guest role in Delicious (the comedy drama set in Cornwall starring Dawn French and Emilia Fox).

I saw an ad the other day with Suzy/Susie wassername. She used to do the grid walk when rhe BBC covered F1.
I haven't see her for years.

It’s off iPlayer at the moment, but “Have I got 30 years for you”, a documentary on HIGNFY went some way to explain the decline of his career.

Not sure he ever "disappeared". Still does a number of Saturday night TV slots, was one of the main presenters of the UK NFL coverage for a while on C4, and has been the lead presenter / host of live Formula E coverage the last few years too. Plus he was one of the contestants on the Welsh version of I'm A Celeb last year.

That sounds like hiding in plain sight to me 😆

I cannot imagine watching a sport programme would be enjoyable with his heavy accent (and I'm from the NW of England!)

Suzi was missing a couple of years ago, health issue I believe, but is presenting every day during the MotoGP weekend, but only on BT Sport.
Did a good piece with Rossi at his last Silverstone race.

I think he's very good when I watch FormulaE ... a lot better than Lazenby and the CH4 bloke on the F1 ..

With regard to Sarah Smart, I last saw her in a Doctor Who two-parter, The Rebel Flesh and The Almost People, but when I looked it up, I discovered that it was ten years ago! It also featured Raquel Cassidy, another good actress who is quite easy on the eye, and we don't see enough of.

He was all over the place at one time - Him and 'chatty man' Carr used to do a show didn't they?

Falling out of favour with Strictly viewers over snogging his dance pro didn't help either. There was a surprisingly strong public backlash that did not help his career, particularly on the BBC (eg. getting booked for Mock the Week)
