Tell us Something Really Trivial about your Life (VOL 30)
Discussion
Morning all. No further sightings of Herman to report, I'll keep an eye out for him though.
A 2500M? Oh dear, I thought they all had names, shows you how much I know.
Mind, thinking about it, a chap I knew back in the early '90's had a wedge shaped one, I think that was just called a 350i ? Dark blueish with light grey leather, noisy old beast. I remember a couple of bits of the interior came adrift and we stuck them back on with aviation grade adhesive, that cured the bugger.
Lovely old thing it was.

Wow! Just look at the size of that thing!
You must be very proud to have a courgette of such enormous proportions, Timmy!
The secret is the fertiliser, I shouldn't really be telling anyone this, but what you do is fill a bucket half full of sheep crap, then p*ss in it until it's full, give it a stir every few days and after a few weeks you've got an excellent fertiliser. You can have it if you like, plenty more courgettes where that came from and they're delicious pan fried. You must be very proud to have a courgette of such enormous proportions, Timmy!

Dahn that Devon again. Fell through a hole in the traffic this morning with a nice relaxing journey at 2 hrs 59! A new record in the unspoken competition between my brother and me. Previous record holding cars include my RS2 of fond memory and his current Cayman. Today however, in my clunky 1.9 TDi it was into 6th joining the M4 in Newbury and out of 6th leaving the A38 at Dartbridge. M4, M5 and A38 wthout dropping out of top gear. Marvellous. Average speed 61mph!
And I kept within the spirit of the law if not actually the letter.

Steady on chaps, I'm afraid to say both of those, impressive though they are would be disqualifications, if you let a courgette go it morphs into a much larger fatter marrow. In much the same way as a hottie morphs into a MILF.
A courgette really shouldn't be more than about 12" long with a girth of about 2". A good rule of thumb is if you can stuff it it's a marrow.
You want a nice one directional curve and the end shouldn't be excessively bulbous.

I like courgettes, very versatile.
Diced or sliced courgette, aubergine, onions, tomatoes, garlic, red peppers and sliced mushrooms pan fried in olive oil with a teaspoon of mixed herbs and black pepper to taste, add a splash of Worcester Sauce and balsamic vinegar and serve with a nice piece of steak and some new potatoes. NOM!

Glad, nay, relieved to see you're still with us Dicky, I was starting to worry you'd been seconded to the Trivton-under-marsh branch of the RAC, off trying to find lost tourist types broken down in the sticks!!! And I kept within the spirit of the law if not actually the letter.

sorry but rules are rules, if you don't like them you can take it up with the Vicar. ( although you know what happened to the chap who complained about his oversized carrot being disqualified, he still has to use a colostomy bag )Edited by Timmy45 on Monday 25th June 12:55

That's not a courgette!!! I feel mildly violated, dirty and soiled!!! But strangely it was an enjoyable experience!!
king Pelican loves them, fried, boiled or any which way you’d care to prepare them!!
