They say to use common sense but I don't think people have that. Isn't it obvious that if someone is coming the other way, you go single file to maintain 2m?
If my all too frequent interaction with middle aged couples who would ordinarily be found on retail parks, at Costa or an all inclusive resort are anything to go by then apparently not.

They'll walk and cycle side by side, they expect anyone coming the other way to move over and you'll get snotty comments and filthy looks when you try to keep moving.

The sooner these s fk off back to their dull lives and leave the outdoors to the grown ups the better.

Some Facebook admins are really odd, sad strange little people.
I got invited to be one on my local page a few years ago, I think in an attempt to try and reel in my sarcastic replies to the idiots a bit. I looked at it as an opportunity to tighten up the written rules to ensure they covered things the admin team actively enforced and to then apply a consistent level of policing over the maniacs posting on there.

My best intentions lasted about 2 hours when I realised the current admin team were actively rejecting applications for new members they didn't like the look of, ignoring loads of stuff that went against the rules if it was posted by their mates and were essentially a little clique of mates who wouldn't allow an outsider like me to do anything other than the day to day donkey work admin of approving 100s on nonsense posts. When I attempted to reject duplicate posts about the same thing in favour of giving the poster a link to the original or tried to educate members on the use of the search button before posting the 20th "wear can get outsid tap 2day" message of day I was made to feel like Hitler.

So yeah, as someone who is odd, sad and a bit strange, I can confirm that a lot of Facebook admins are even worse. The worst of the worse are the ones that set up a near-identical group to the one they are aggrieved with due to the way the admin run it but then go on to be much worse once they get a taste of that sweet, sweet power.

Sometimes I think Facebook should just have stopped when it was essentially "hot or not" or at least have some kind of license system implemented to only allow actual humans with a degree of sense to use it.

There appears to be a sudden increase in demand for outside hot taps to be urgently fitted. A post on our local group indicated that one was needed to be installed that very day.

Whilst I expect its not a unduly difficult job I doubt many plumbers are sat waiting to fit one on a Sunday all so Jaydan and Crystal can have a warm paddling pool,

My god..

Surely this should be in the council thread.

At the risk of going too far. This looks like the sort of house hold that stinks of stale fags and wet dog, with a fridge full of carling and ready meals for the heffer on the sofa. Who undoubtedly is on DSS for being depressed. And why is he depressed? Because he's got weight issues.

Not that I'm hitting them with a stereotype.... Much

Not facebook directly but certainly wins some points here

- NHS
- Retiring NHS at that
- Too dumb to understand what is going on in the world and that holiday companies are struggling with staff at the moment

How very true.
One has to be careful these days.

"they" are depressed because "they" have an eating problem and "they" are scrounging every last pay the government will give "them" because "they" are entitled to it...

Still not judging them..

On another note.. How the hell is "its" foot bending that far

Hard to make out, TBH. Add in 'Sportswear but hasn't done any sport since school 30 yrs ago' and you've nearly got a full house on FB Bingo there!

I live in a small, nothing town in Wiltshire.

Just seen on our local FB page that someone is organising a BLM protest in the Market Place on Sunday afternoon.

Currently a fall out over taps on my local group - someone's grandparents have ended up paying £100 for an "outside" tap fitting under the sink because the plumber couldn't find a way to put it outside, they've asked if that's reasonable and invoked some kind of plumber vs plumber vs Karen war.

I also forgot - someone on our page had the HORROR of finding out that someone who was walking their dog, picked up their dog's poop in a bag, sealed it and then put it in their bin they left on the side of the road.

They said that because they had a RING doorbell (wow! cool!) and the time they would (words to the effect) wait outside for them to do it again.......

Luckily nearly everyone called them out for being absolute s.
