although maybe those later 'vents' can be cabin vents pressure relieve valve's? no idea though, those from the black 2.4 Beetle looks more like extra air inlet catchers.

Just wondering, I never owned a beetle so never really looked into such.
Yes you might be right Rene - the standard vents were for extracting stale air from the cabin. The black car may be using the inlet for cooling.

I also have a little soft spot for something like this example, a VW Bug with a Porsche 2.4 B4 engine and 200hp, standard such beetle came with?? 35hp or so? no idea, never owned one.

I like that, but I'd change the wheels for something more classic looking to match the car, similar size to those 5 spokes, but not modern.
Yep the twists don’t really suit this. Some fuchs would be more fitting.

hm... not bad ad all, from aside a nice profile, not something I would buy, but not a bad afford to create such, its 'different'

the front from aside, has a bit Volvo p1800 vibes.

Bizarre grafting of an American ‘50’s custom on to a supercar. Not for me I’m afraid

Cool looking thing, always good to see one offs that have been well executed, even if they are not something I aspire to own.

Nice Camaro.

This must've been posted before and the owner must be on here, but it's just popped up on my Facebook.

NO! Volvo P1800 (I know it’s a Volga) meets Bugatti, would have looked better as some Eastern Bloc sports car re-imagination.

That is so right on so many levels, nothing messed up, just enough, not too far, absolutely bloody gorgeous, can we say subtle, I know it isn’t, but then again it is.

It would have been all too easy for the builders to have gone down the retro mod route, but they didn’t, leaving instead authenticity and along with it beauty. cloud9

I tried a quick search but it's never easy finding old posts from yourself. I'd really appreciate a tool that made it easy.
