I'm thinking of instigating a "Masterchef: The Professionals" drinking game.

Do a shot every time anyone says:

3 ways
Confit
Reduction
Pan-fried
Girolle

Anyone want to get that drunk?
hehe Our household had the same idea - our version:

Marcus says “Fabbluss”
Monica says “Alements”
Greg raises his eyebrows

Reckon we wouldn’t reach the halfway point.....

Maybe next time round (next Autumn I assume), in the initial heats every time a chef is introduced, take a drink for each of the following:

He has a beard
He has sleeve tattoos
He says "smash it"
He says "I'm very competitive".

Me next Autumn:

Is this a metaphor?

I'd also like to add any use of the word "heritage" before a vegetable to the drinking list

Marcus sounded emotional when describing Dean's dish.
I did wonder if he was going to cry!

Wondering if we'll see the Cyberdyne Systems Model 101 really 'wow' with a dish not based on fish? From memory it's only done it once - the critics round where it did the 'bbq' beef which under-whelmed.

Monica saying parster for pasta grates....

On a side note the standard this year is insanely high I'm loving it. Hard to call a winner although, Dean is my tip.

Cannot stand the bloke. Who honestly goes phwoar, or giggles like a schoolgirl to a plate of food.

Also it's bloody creepy when this bald fat cockney says beautiful or pretty.

His skill seems to consist entirely of the above, gurning, or telling us which parts of the food are sweet and which are salty.

Monica's botter is noted every time it's said
