This has to be limited to cars first released in that era, not just cars for sale in the 70's, eg mini and etype were on sale in 70's but not FROM 70's

Its certainly up there:





The S1 Esprit is simply Beautiful

amongst my other faves would be: LP400 Countach and the 512BB

What a great era for car design along with the 80's.

928 - still looks modern today.

For me, it's the early Fischer bodied Firebirds. I believe these were the fastest production cars in the world in 1970?

Hard not to like, it's very handsome that, but best looking? Sorry, not a chance compared to the best Europe had to offer.

The Aston in the OP is IMO the best looking car of all time. The 2nd to that is the Ferrari BB.
