Both alpine and mineral white look superb but dare I say getting a bit too common now.... I would go Melbourne red or interlagos blue if I was speccing from new... I would also add electric fold mirrors to your list... Other than that great choice I'm sure your gonna love it.,

I do like mine in Alpine White but if I was speccing new I would go interlagos & agree white does seem a little commonplace nowadays but it does suit the shape I think.

Wasn't common when I got mine. Was the first car the Sytner group had seen and the saleman was urging not to do it! After it arrived they asked me back twice to show prospective buyers how good it looked in white... biggrin Is common now, though.

That could be the combo I go for, or similar anyway....SSII, with black 359 Comp wheels.....won't be frozen tho, I think the 100 frozen silver have all gone. So regular SSII, which is fine. The frozen paint thing seems to be in fashion at the moment, but whether that will last, remains to be seen.

I think the run of 100 in the UK makes them too rare to be fashionable fad unlike white, but mineral white looks stunning close up.

In the flesh the paint really shows off all the creases and bulges in the e92 body work that are flattened by most metallic colours.

Best to see the colours in person, I avoided Jerez and then after seeing one in the sun I just had to have it. This is just like mine.

This thread has some interesting combos

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2703...

And one of my favourites

White to me at least is boring and way too common.

I always wanted a mora purple with champagne interior...

I have only seen 1 in the flesh, and never any photos of one around here.

I tried to spec one with the BMW site, but got no luck!

If I was ordering new ad spend the extra money and go for an individual colour. Then again I've always wanted mine to be a little bit different.
I really like Java Green - yes it is very much in your face, but then again this is an M3 you're talking about.
Here are a couple of pictures taken from another forum:

Clearly not going to be everyone's cup of tea, but we've got to admit the colour has one hell of a glow to it

Lovely colour but I don't think it suits the M3.

Dakar Yellow has to be my favourite ever I think...

I really fancy ordering a loud colour...especially Sakhir Orange....but neither Java or Sakhir are available, even as individual. I asked and was told.."It is possible but likely to cost around 3k"

It's a matt blue wrap, I've the vinyl code somewhere if you're interested.

It's the speed district M3, I think they've changed it again. If I end up in an e92 next, it's going that colour.
