Great looking car, as mentioned elsewhere I would keep the original mirrors and probably the kidney grills. Have I seen it driving around the High Wycombe area?
I've kept the kidney grilles whilst I make my mind up 100%, but one thing I know is that I detested the standard mirrors. M3 mirrors might be better than these, I'll try and compare them if I come across a car with them fitted. As for seeing me, well the car was delivered on 11/9/13 and with work and life commitments it's only really had a few trips out, but it's covered most of Wycombe on those journeys

Thought I had seen it about. I think the concerns about coil overs stems from lots of cars fitted with the wrong kit or cheap kits lowered too much.
I had a set of Leda's on my Cosworth when I got it. On a circuit they were amazing, on the road they were awful. You had to choose between pot holes and oncoming traffic. They ruined the handling, lots of grip on smooth surfaces but no feel through the chassis, you could not sense the accident that you were about to have. Changed to a set of Koni's and 14 years down the line still happy with them.
All depends on what you want to use he car for I suppose.

Lovely car but don't like the black kidney grilles
It's your car so be true to yourself, my Atlantis Blue was not standard but could quickly and easily be put back that way as all standard parts were kept
I got my car how I wanted - end of
I'd agree on the kidneys as well, but as said it's personal taste and easily changed. It's your car so be true to yourself, my Atlantis Blue was not standard but could quickly and easily be put back that way as all standard parts were kept

A few things have changed since my last update.
Coilovers have now been fitted with adjustable top mounts on the front and new top mounts on the rear, I also bought reinforced metal plates for the rear top mounts.
My previous Wheels have now been sold and new wheels fitted, I much prefer these new ones too.

I took some photos tonight and they highlight that my car needs a machine polish, but it was nice to get my tripod out for the first time in ages regardless....

Looks really nice and it's far improved over what you started with. Personally can't stand cars wearing non period stuff so angel eyes on an e36 or black grilles are a no no but that's just me.
Lose the grilles, headlights and raise the car a bit as it looks a bit 'stanced' and that's a fine automobile you have there.
