Another way to see how long it’s been advertised for is to put the reg in here - https://totalcarcheck.co.uk/FreeCheck?regno=Nj17rx...

This site is pretty handy, gives you previously seen adverts so you can also see if the price has reduced.

Hey Guys
What do you think this is really worth ?
I quite like it as a fun runaround smile

We should have a competition to see who can find the advert that's been on the longest.

I had one a while back that was just short of six months.

I'm sure there's plenty been on for much longer.
I noticed that a Jaguar XKR had sold the other week, it had been listed when I was looking for mine....I've had mine 2+ years now, and I spent 6-9 months looking, so it would've been advertised for about 3 years...and the price would go down & then up again on a random basis

Hey guys could someone please help me out with this in? I’m very interested in this vehicle but the seller has not gotten back to me and I’m worried that it’s an old lsiting.

Any tips for contacting private sellers better? I tried looking him up and all I found was a man who passed away in 2015.

If you right click on one of the images and click "open image in new tab", in the address of the image is '2022/5/1'

Looking at the background of the pictures would suggest it's more likely May than January, so I'd guess it means '1st May 2022' therefore a relatively recent advert

There's a Chrome extension that adds ad age to listings and search results.

The smart traders renew their ads every week or two because you can also search by newest ad

That's why bookmarked ads will regularly disappear and then reappear in the listings

A lot of dealers have realised that people can now see when the ad was posted and are refreshing ads

Does it count if I repost this and say that it's still listed! eek

Are dealers able to re-use listings for successive vehicles which may explain some of the very old listing dates?

According to its (scanty) MOT history it hasn't done any miles since 2019.
