You know I’m not sure on the csl bootlid , is it a bit try hard ?

My other option is to leave the m3 as it is absolutely mint. And respray the compact in a new colour but I’m in that project for circa 12k now , maybe going little crazy again
I get what you're saying. I just like the overall line it gives the car.

Imola red ,infinitely preferable to any grey or silver.

Or that mid blue colour I've seen them in .

ETA....not Estoril blue mentioned above ,a non metallic blue. ,don't know the name of.

My favourite colour is Blue water, an individual colour from around 2001-2

My friend had an E46 M3 in Dakar Yellow which replaced his E36 M3 in Dakar Yellow. The E46 was replaced by an E46 M3 CS in Interlagos Blue.
As striking as I thought the DY E46 was, his had privacy glass all round which I think spoiled the look of it. The Interlagos Blue though... stunning.

M3 E46 in DY is quite rare aswel,I looked a while for one but with condition, mileage and manual been paramount I ended up with silver..

Agreed. He had a family member who worked for a dealership, so whenever one came on the system he snapped it up.
I like Phoenix Yellow, but as a colour it's a bit divisive.
I suppose it depends on whether you want to stick to an OEM colour (for your year of car) or go off piste. That Imola Red would be high on my list... and Laguna Seca somewhere near the bottom (sorry Laguna lovers).

Phoenix yellow, absolutely no doubt.

But respraying such a valuable car seems a bit rash to me.

I love the interlagos blue looks great on the m5.
Bit of a curve ball but my other option would be to leave the m3 silver an go to my original plan of Laguna seca on the compact ? Or maybe interlagos Jesus bloody harder choice than I thought .. think this threads made me more indecisive laugh

She’s nearly ready for paint .
