I think it’s correct. At least it’s like that on the Cutty Sark and Victory models I built ages ago. From what I remember of looking around stuff at the tall ships race in Lerwick last year, a lot of ships wheels are configured like that for some reason.

Bit more progress


I decided to make the ropes holding the cannon a bit random, the rope & pulley mouldings just looked a bit too uniform to me. I can't imagine pirates being that well organised (well , that's my excuse; sticking to it!)

The finish on that is superb, and extremely well rigged too
