Very lovely.
But, forgive me, imho in some shape or form all E-types need their front wheel-arches filled, not half-empty and knock-kneed:

I understand what you mean, but the difference is the image is of a racer ‘ track car that can have very hard suspension (not suitable for a road car) and it also doesn’t need to have much in the way of steering lock compared to its road going sibling, hence it can also comfortably run wider wheels I’d suggest. But, forgive me, imho in some shape or form all E-types need their front wheel-arches filled, not half-empty and knock-kneed:
As an aside, are we taller now than people were in the 60’s?
Whenever I, at 6’ tall, have sat in an E-type OTS, my eyeline is directly level with the top of the windscreen header rail, so I would either have to duck down to see under it or try to peer over the top…

I really like how OE it looks but with some great upgrades under the skin.
I was born just before E-Types went on sale and have always loved them but think those Dunlop wheels are just as period as wires. I'd just like to see them much further out in the arches, but maybe whoever commissioned it wanted an original look even if it does remind me of Commer vans!

All these restomods that simply enhance the past to provide a sort of rose tinted glasses trip down memory lane, speak to a lack of confidence in the future.
Odd because the 60's were a period of huge social and economic change. Now Jaguar's Jaguar's periodic change of direction as it builds a new technology platform are greeted with frothing hysteria because Jaguar will no settle for making the same product as before.
Kinema are the bes of the restomods, no twee pastichefest there.

For me the E Type is nearly the ultimate shape, agreed the arches did require filling. For the absolute ultimate here is my choice. I built this after home restoring 23 E Types, yes I am very old….

Dry sump as well. Tell us more about the build ? LHD doner car ?

That looks completely wrong on those wheels, respect they are iconic on Jaguar's but just looks so wrong
A little lower and wires would be so much better
Conversely I love the 'Dunlop' wheels on Jags, wire wheels seem so old fashioned, but I put that down to my age (born in the final year of E-type production) and I'm sure those who were around when wire wheeled cars were new would have a different view.A little lower and wires would be so much better
