Noble Owners Club ?
Discussion
The original club was started by Dave and Jools back when there was only 50 or so cars. The mailing list included Lee and the owners basically all acted at beta testers for the cars. The owners days were organised by the factory.
Jools and myself then had a go at a big revamp and Jools wrote www.nobleownersclub.com
I took on organising the big owners meets after the factory announced that they were no longer going to organise them. After a really successful meet at Brands, the next one at Oulton was a total flop...having been initially very much talked about and had many people agreeing to come, almost all dropped out and left me looking like a right pudding with the trackday company!
The fleeces/shirts that Martin mentioned were the ones I had made as prototypes.
Part of the problem is that Pistonheads is so good as an info source. It's truly awesome, and everyone ends up back here. Things are even better now as we've got private owners only stuff at nobleparts.com. that Phil has kindly sorted.
Jools found making the club "official" is much more difficult than you think, as it really need to be a business. That's a time consumer.... a big time consumer. You end up p155ed off with continuous enquiries and complaints !
Now, the "Club" pretty much exists here; and to be honest it thrives.
The beauty of it is that no one has to take any responsibility or take on any organisation. You can put up any idea for anything and see how it rolls! Things like the Finchingfield meet and Northants runs are a prime example. Mandy at the factory often emails me with details of people who've contacted them about owners events and I always point them here !
We discovered (painfully occasionally!) that we don't need to hire a venue at £x,000's to have a trackday. Conrad has sorted a carlimits training day and Steve (daddysumo)'s bit of organisation to gather us at Donington on a trackdays.co.uk day was great.
.....and that got me thinking. Next year IMHO we should pick around 6 trackdays from someone like trackdays.co.uk, put the dates as a sticky at the top of the PH page and then we can all go to however many we want. We'll take the van along to each day with a load of tools/fluids/parts etc. in case anyone gets into trouble on the day. I know that Lee has been meaning to come to a day, and was coming to Oulton until we had to cancel it!
There was a big debate on here a while ago on here about the logo, loads of designs were about at the time. this one was voted the favourite at the time!

If there’s enough interest I’ll see about getting another load of polo shirts and fleeces made.
Might need someone else to sort out the business part of getting them sold/shipped to owners though!

If someone supplies me the agreed logo I will sort it all out or you can Obes as you've done it before.
I've just done it for my business so I should be able to get good rates and the quality of the clothing was good.
I want a fleece, a t-shirt and a polo shirt.
