Arrested. Charged. Banned from driving in the UK for X years. Released with a fine. Think Max Power picked it up.

Pedantic note. That's not the M25 tongue out

I remember reading many years ago in an old Max Power about his attempt to do 200mpg in a tunnel in Tokyo, but wouldn't go through a red light as it was illegal

A sticker is worth more than any lap time.

Sounds about right.

Commit a motoring offence, and be deported, be a terrorist and stay here.

In the start of the clip he's stopped on the A11 (Norfolk) just along the road from Snetterton near a roundabout, and then magically appears in Camrbridge a bit later... definitely not the M25!

I always understood the aim of that Top Secret trip was to do 200MPH on the A1...

Correct. When he pulls off the hard shoulder you can see the sign on the other side for the B1043.

This clearly identifies it as the 4 lane section of the A1(M).
The B1043 is the former A1 which runs parallel between Alconbury and Norman Cross.

I remember getting to the end of the M25 and having to turn around and drive back 30 miles. Does that make me old? smile

When it was first open all the way round, there were no speed cameras and few police cars. And very little traffic, especially early on a Sunday morning...

I remember when you could stand in the kiosk at Norman Cross and buy soup from a vending machine and an apple pie from another vending machine, and the M25 didn't exist at all!

Yeah, but how long did it take to drink the soup and eat the apple pie?

Here is a longer vid that explains it a bit better.
