Looks a hundred times better to me on those wheels, a really handsome car.
Thank you, much appreciated. I’m mega excited about them coming back and fitted up but also doing that thing I do, which is doubting my decision to go from 20” back to 19s.

Looks good, I can attest to that style of wheel.
May I ask how much of a steal?

Although I changed the rear tyre size from 275/35 to proper M6 sized 285/35 and put them in for the £238 gloss black refurb, so they already owe me over a £1000 laugh

My M6 wheels have returned, now shiny gloss black and immaculate.

I’ve fitted them up, just waiting for Black centre caps to arrive and after a test run today I need to reduce my rear spacer size, but damn they’re nice and chunky.

After taking a few more test photos, I finally put my rear spoiler in for spraying, seen here loosely sitting on my boot lid in matte black plastic.

These 19” M6 alloys are the complete opposite of my now sold 20” M359 wheels,
They don’t have the wow Factor but the drive with the extra tyre is what I’ve been missing for the last year!

I hear you. My car chassis also wears black badges though so they all need to be black, or blue...

Seeing as the UK is having a mini Indian summer, we headed to our holiday home up near Bude in Cornwall, taking the 6 series for a good run out.

I took a few photos with our static home Yesterday, and the last one today is after getting back from a day of topless driving.

I was recently chasing a coolant leak, I lost about 1/2 litre every 300 miles, so bought a pressure testing kit as it wasn’t obvious.
The answer was the water pump. I decided to get it down by a pro for £300, along with a new belt and coolant change, problem now sorted.

Arrived 12 pages in - lovely car Cliff.

Off to eBay to see what I can find.

Edit to add - 630s are plenty below £10k and plenty above £20k. Where’s the middle priced stuff??

You sure a 630 is what you want? Solid engines I agree, but underpowered for this huge car and no exhaust note to speak of.
The 645 is dirt cheap and 650 coming down too

Thank you, I appreciate the comments.
It’s taken a long time to get it right and now I feel it’s pretty much there, but I need to get a couple of mechanical bits sorted and I will be bake to relax with it.

Beautiful car! I would have one of those in a shot if money was no object.
I had a look at where you stayed, it’s not that far from us. We’re actually at Wainhouse corner on the A39 between Bude and Boscastle.
This is our family static so we come down 5/6/7 times per year, but not always in the 6, mostly the Skoda work horse out of season.

Just based on the buying guide supplied above.

I moved away from an m3 cos it cost a fortune on upkeep. I imagine the v8s are in a similar league.

Thanks, it’s a decent drive and they are going up in price which is good lol.

Lovely bit of the world, there are some great roads around there, we used to get from the accommodation to the beach pretty quickly laugh

Very nice! Would love somewhere like that to just get away.. yeah I bet the 6 does take some fuel I have a V8 too so I feel your pain drink
