Me, aged 15 I think. 1985/6.

Me in 87/88. I think looking at this I had the a

The Rover was my second car and a 3500. It ended in tears.

Me with an very good friend I served with. The boy is his, the mutt is mine.
I would be 47 I think, and I am the one with the gut and moon face .

Aha, found a couple more....

Me, aged 16 aboard my Honda CB175. I'd rebuilt an old Ariel Arrow, putting on a fibreglass fuel tank, expansion boxes,
dropped bars and even rearest footrests designed for a Norton Commanda. The proceeds from this helped me buy
the Honda...many miles covered and never fell off but had a fight with a bus that detached my right small toe. It was
reattached but never worked properly afterwards.
I sold this bike to buy the Triunph TR6 650 Trophy I posted earlier.

A little more up to date. Two friends testing out my new 750 Norton Commando Interstate. Lovely
looking bike but what a bag of bolts. It spent more time off the road awaiting parts than being rideable.
It spat oput the front disc pads and machined its own disc to scrap level. Soon, I could fit a new points
oil seal in three minutes. The Combat engine had crank flex so oil seals didn't last.
On this bike, I encountered a patch of Diesel, caught and went into the kerb...then over the handlebars and nutted a wall.
This split my Bell Star down one side and put me off bikes for a good while.
Cue Biking Renaissance part 2. I'd dabbled with a couple of trail bikes, the last one being a
kawasaki KLR 600 - the fabled electric start armchair.
In a moment of petrol induced lost youth insanity, I bought this. The Honda CBX 750RF scared me witless. The little wheels
just loved following tarmac tracks and white lines so I rarely felt fully in control.

Four wheels ever since, save for a brief run on a Honda Dominator.

The start of your 118/118 career.

My contribution -

I'm the geek with the specs (of course). To be frank - that's the best I've ever looked. It was all downhill after that. Picture dates from Summer 1968. The chap on my left is my cousin, who also liked to mess about.
I took your picture and had it digitally aged to get an approximation of how you look now.

Go on then, I'll play...
Me and my Old man, just going to the Amersham carnival - he was in Round Table and they organised it. The Escort estate was from memory, the only car I ever remember as new - 1300 Estate, Auto, with inertia reel seatbelts as an extra - cost just about £900 I think..... Reg sticks in my mind NGC 681K

And then me in happiest career, about 86 I think. Working on a large mixed arable estate near Silverstone, renting a room in the Kings Head in Syresham and living the dream.......Here, we were contracting Silage making for a local Dairy farmer...
Life was so much simpler then.....

That’s me with the fur bonnet in 1979 with TR5PI, 2.5 litre straight six, 150BHP.
How I miss that car. Went like a rocket, but very scary on the corners.
I sold it to help pay for a new house. Then I discovered that the first missus had been able to keep all her toys. You can guess the rest.
Anyone know of the car's whereabouts now?
