He's just said the CH-R rear is 13.1kg
CH is a st wheel.
CH-Rs are just heavy, cheapish cast wheels designed for hard track use where damage is likely.

yep very tempting from a turbos S though, no offsets listed.

he also has a very cheap RS bonnet for sale, again on GT3 that would look amazing.

Markets 5800 now on the plus side :-)

goto love the doom of 4000...…. and the Pro EU crowd we have on here talking the UK down .

I bought up a few stocks last Friday, pretty nice gains 17% for 4 days at home.

I'm a purist to a fault. In my opinion, if it didn't leave the factory with those wheels, they shouldn't be anywhere near the car. To change them would make me feel like Jimmy Savile after a late night mortuary visit. Filthy.

Somethings shouldn't be tampered with.

oem cars are pretty meh due to restriction, costs, EU laws etc etc

Porsche did a WP as an option as they just could not add Ti , Carbon and mag wheels at this price point, so came up with WP and charged well for it.

On a GT3 though there is NO WP option, So you just fit the same parts yourself and end up with a mega bit of kit.

Porsche make mega cars at mega price points, when you look at Singer or a Ruf at £600k you wonder how a GT3 is only £111k (ok we know why but it's bloody cheap vs the other 2 makes)

but take a GT3 to the next level and spend the cash you have a mega machine for £180k, still £420k cheaper than a singer or a Ruf but prob a better car than both.

Manthey are 51 % Porsche owned, Manthey cars lap faster and have more feel and get lap records
A-workx also mod GT3's and have lap records in the new GT3's

These cars with a few bits changed are transformed driving machines.

I don't doubt any of that. I'd suggest it's a problem I have, rather than anyone who wants to mod their car. In my mind it ruins the car, but clearly that's extremely subjective and a little OCD on my part.

Mince are from Rimstyle who are the UK BBS Agent.

This Dutch company https://www.baanvelgen.com/en/bbs-fi-r-wheels-forg... were quite punchy on pricing but for some reason they wouldn’t supply WG despite it being a factory option. I guess they either have stock or have wheels pre-ordered in standard colours. By the time I’d added shipping etc the prices were pretty close and I would rather deal with a UK company.
Very top company in the BM modding world and a pleasure to deal with.

Tend to agree. I'm also a little too OCD when it comes to keeping my cars stock. However, as a purist, I can forgive a Manthey modified car due to its factory backing!

The problem for me is I can't really afford the Manthey modifications. Not if I want to properly maintain my classics anyway

They know how to charge that's for sure.

Maybe I’ll hold on the wheels for now and just concentrate on getting a painted key and clocking the miles back on my car to sub 3k !

Apparantly the mileage correction technicians clockers are fairly quiet atm apart from advancing a few odometers to claim fictitious current business mileage lol.

That’s a lovely spec, except that windscreen sticker looks awful- reminds me of some boy racer Nova effort n the 90’s!!

Talk about modding though- I’ve still got some houndstooth 918 seat inserts if anyone is interested?
