Dear noodle friends

I have a problem! I have just spent £30 on four yes 4 pots of noodles. Ok not just any noodles in a pot but ones from the only star rated ramen restaurant!

all i can say is they better be fking good!

Not to burst your bubble they aren't the only ramen joint to get a Michelin Sstar, they were the first but not the only one. The other also does a noodle pot too.

However, I feel you have crossed the line from the noodle thread to the frivolous purchases thread, feel free to pop these in there too hehe

Happy eating!

Tidy thumbup

Was tempted myself a month or so again. Was that the variety 4 pack or 4 the same? Looking forward to your review, enjoy.

PS. That'll take some trumping on price but i'll have a little nosey in my cupboard later wink

Can I ask where you got them? Having visited that ramen shop last year I’m interested to compare the instant version!

Anyone mentioned the Naked Noodle pots?

Have tried all the flavours now and they are all stunning - especially the Thai Green Curry one.

Tesco seem to stock all variations as well so very easy on a work lunch time!
Bit disappointed, given the name I thought they would be low/no carb, but it’s not the case!

Does anyone make konjac (0 carb) instant noodle pots?
Sorry I know it’s heresy, but my midriff needs it

I'm also not a fan of the Naked noodles, though I do not consider them bad. The Nissin Soba noodles I think are better in the packets - tried both versions of the same flavour and found the cook in pan version to be superior (to me).

Found them.....

£10 a pot on Amazon I think!! These are “self heating” !!! Tried similar (not self heating) but didn’t like the lotus root and other vegetable as too crunchy/raw for me. Will review these in the future.

Edit: bit like these.....

Also spotted these in Costco,no I didn’t get them ,got enough to get on with apparently according to wife

The Costco noodles are very nice, with a good peppery flavour.

OG Nissin Cup noodles are on offer in tesco @ £1.50 a pop if you are feeling a bit flush.

Got a couple of Teriyaki chicken ones to throw in the office drawer.

Dire! Oily, raw heat and too much Szechuan taste that reminded me of a trip to the dentist hehe

Should be getting a 50 quid delivery today of new stuff though thumbup

Tried that Tsuta one yet?
