This film contains a holy trinity of actors I either don't like or can't stand, Hugh Grant and Jax Teller (can't stand) and Colin Farell (not a fan).
Consequently I dodged it for months as I couldn't pluck up any enthusiasm to watch it.
I thought it was very good, Hugh Grant earned his money, the lad from Byker Grove didn't annoy me and CF was excellent.
I've watched for a second time with my wife.
Guy Ritchies second best film after Rocknrolla.

I see Utopia is available. I’m gonna give it a go. Looks a bit cheesy already just 5 mins in.

Well, 2 episodes in and it’s alright. Got quite dark and not a bad remake of the original so far.

Watching the Hobbit trilogy, great stuff not as good as 2 rings though.

Anyone watched World's toughest race?.

Interesting. Though I thought the earlier episodes were stronger than the later.

It was always likely these days to be a balance between actual racing footage and human interest stories. They get that balance better in the earlier episodes than the last two in my view.

Yes it is inspiring to see a team of people in their sixties, or those with serious injuries try to do it, not so much some of the other stories.

Private ends up on the wrong side of the Falls Road in Belfast not knowing who to trust.

I'd say this is the best film surrounding The Troubles there's ever been.

I bailed after about 20 minutes.....it was appalling! Guy Richie is desperately trying to be Quentin but falls disastrously short in every department. Hugh Grant’s character was OK at first but I got very tired of him. He must have watched Tom Hardy in Legend a LOT as his accent was far too similar.
The overall dialog was awful, the plot....stupid...hated it!

I think animals can offer redemption. I know in the USA they have therapy dogs and cats and would work well. Nice he was given another chance at life.

I haven't seen it, so don't know how it ends, but I did google it to find out what it is about and there was only one story in the papers about it...

Not sure (again without seeing it) whether it might be worth a warning not to google it and go in cold??

Bad Samaritan staring David Tennent playing a weirdo.

Bit cheesy but worth the watch.

The Gentlemen. I'd seen it before but not on a big screen. Even better the second time around but I'm a bit of a Guy Ritchie fanboi.

Spart from the shameless "GRITCHIE" pubs and brewery..

Very good.
Most of it filmed in Blackburn, strangely enough.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed almost everything he’s done. I’ve started this twice and got bored.

I thought it was his best film so far. Maybe the mix of actors but the story is great.

I nearly gave up after 20 mins but it was worth sticking with imo

Charlie Hunnam was the star imo

Finally got around to watching “The Judge” tonight - saw it mentioned on this thread a while back , what a brilliant film, loved it. Great performances by all, and gripping story

Watched a couple of B-movies tonight

‘The Sand’ and ‘Infestation’.

The Sand is about a group of teenagers who are trapped on a beach due to something in the sand (sort of budget survival Horror)

Infestation is about insects that have taken over the world (horror/comedy)

They weren’t actually that bad. Nice to watch something that’s just a film rather than an attempted propaganda piece smile
