i remember, even at the age of 6, that people with those space talking raleigh bikes were spoilt little C-words!! They were incredibly expensive, and there was no chance my parents were going to buy one for me... i think i knew even then that it was beyond a reasonable amount to spend.

just dropped £15 on a bike for my little one.
£300 is enough to use a pair of new minimotos like rollerskates...

I always found that the sort of kids with this kind of stuff had divorced parents.
