Major incident at Salisbury District Hospital
Discussion
The only way the British Government can punish Putin is by kicking out his mates and their families.
Make sure they can't enjoy their ill-gotten Kensington mansions or send their children to our private schools.
For Vlad, a man who has everything and is unofficially regarded as the richest person in the world, the embarrassment of having his cronies evicted is the best medicine we can serve him.

Someone on this thread said it's outrageous to punish the innocent children (kids at school).Make sure they can't enjoy their ill-gotten Kensington mansions or send their children to our private schools.

I expect Mr Corbyn would still like a little more evidence before doing anything as rash as sending a strongly worded letter to the Russians.
Cant wait for him to start defending innocent Tourists just doing a spot of Cathedral watching. I think stain glass is their thing looking at them.johnxjsc1985 said:

That was me, and it still is. Punishing the children for the sins of their fathers is scumbag stuff. (see North Korea)otolith said:

As others have said, the cover up is probably purposefully half hearted because Putin, as much as possible, would like people to know it was him.
In my mind, it is this scenario which ties up the loose ends and answers the question of motive. The failure to kill the intended targets is what sat most uncomfortably for me but there is so much more which doesn't make sense the intention was just to kill.
Had SS just been found dead in a ditch, it might not have even made national news for a day - this has made it very clear who not to mess with.

I just can’t get my head around the lies that Russia tell.
How can we as the West work with this? We can’t compete with that level of cunning because our values won’t allow it.
The Russian authorities know no other way. They've been doing for so long to an unquestioning public (who daren't even think of questioning) that it becomes second nature. How can we as the West work with this? We can’t compete with that level of cunning because our values won’t allow it.
They seem to think that the rest of the world is under the same hammer (and sickle) and will believe it too.
The only way the cycle will be broken is if somebody like Gorbachev gets in for 15 or 20 years to bring them gradually out of it. But I can't see that happening, the nutters are in charge now and nothing other than a revolution can stop Putin's crowd from being in charge forever.
(Sshh - very similar to the situation in the Labour Party)

Just watching Channel4 news, apparently they had sequentially numbered passports.
Where's my scratching chin smiley gone...
It's like the mafia boss hired two cheapest guys on the street to do the job...botched assassination and spreading nerve agent all around, no clue about CCTV in UK, coming on the same flight(directly from Moscow), sequentially numbered passports, hilarious interview on TV...it seems you get what you pay for.Where's my scratching chin smiley gone...
I think this is a job for Johnny English and I suggest he should be sent to Moscow without further delay that will teach them to mess with us. ( I don't mean that of course he is a fictional character we really need Sherlock homes out there).
These two idiots have signed there own death warrants and no doubt will end up on a slab Victims as reported on RT of the British secret service.

Everybody's perception is that the Russian security services are top notch.Where's my scratching chin smiley gone...
I'm sorry but all the evidence (and not just from this incident) points to the fact that they're nothing more than a bunch of rank amateurs.
