His other Mk2 (one of them anyways) is a 325bhp 2GRFE.

And a 2ARFE Mk1.

I can see where this one lies in relation to the ornamentalism and doing things just because you can but this thing will still go and sound pretty damn wild.

I'm suspicious of those numbers. If you can nearly double the power of a standard car why didn't Lamborghini do it, the gearbox must be on the verge of exploding every time they fire it up.

There seem to be an awful lot of modified cars around these days with rims that appear to be far too wide for the tyres fitted. Is this just a fashion trend that I haven't caught up with (or don't understand) yet, or what? Most of these, to my mind, must be outside manufacturers recommendations.

Tyre stretch, its a bit of a fashion. Used sometimes to get tyres to tuck inside the wheel arches where the wheel has too much offset.
