Many people decide they "don't mind" Trump, because the only principle involved is: my enemy's enemy is my friend.
Good for them I say.
But there is also a whole load of Americans who voted for him and think he's doing a great job for their economy.
The problem is Trump has done a Tony Blair. Supercharged the economy now, at the expense of it later. When it goes pop as it will, it will be a lot worse due to the tax breaks.

Propaganda: Cutting taxes puts money in people's pockets and drives economic growth.

Reality: https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2018/07/12...

Don't get me wrong here, there's sound arguments for a low tax economy but those arguments are dependent on private sector ability to deliver services, which varies from country to country. (The high tax vs low tax and nationalisation vs privatization argument gets a bit mac vs pc for my liking. Regardless of what the fanatical adherents might say the operating system is not as important as the ability of the person whose hand is in my pocket to deliver the functionality I need. Both high and low tax economies are capable of functioning well provided the execution is correct.)

Also worth noting that inflation is a factor of being at full employment so GOP tax cuts are a multiplier rather than a primary driver of inflation.

Coup d'tt gets a thumbs up from me for best sign but I'm in Norfolk just now so the primary effect of Trump's visit appears to be turning this place in to a helicopter spotter's paradise.

Folk around here are used to having their chimney pots rattled by the RAF but fook me, the RAF and USAF have been flying so low I think they've got in to competitive hedge trimming.

I think the anti-Trump protests are pathetic. Will achieve nothing.

I’m delighted that I live in a country in which they are allowed.

So are you thinking that they hacked the Dems, hacked and then deleted the voter records, and then hacked one of the companies checking the records?

Or do I have one too many links in the chain?
and all that while leaving the trail they didn't have to leave?
and this from someone who loves conspiracy theories.

There's evidence that the voter registration databases were illegally accessed in several states. We know the russians had access to the Cambridge Analytica data that highlighted the likely voting preference of someone. There's documented anecdotal evidence of voters being turned away from the polls as not registered, especially in the 3 swing states that trump won unexpectedly by only a few thousand votes.

You've really got to admire the depths and levels the russians were able to go to.

With all this going on, with both Obama and trump being told before the election by the intelligence agencies that this was going on, why does trump and team trump continuously deny this happened?

And why now a one on one meeting with Putin with no witnesses?

Worrying if this happens. If Rosenstein goes could they eventually close down the investigation?

After the latest indictments, it’s scary that the Republicans are still claiming nothing to see here.

It's part of the move of placing Brian Benczkowski as head of the Justice Department's criminal division, despite his links to the russian Alfa bank, suspected of being the go between for russia and trump for the transfer of CA data.

After yesterdays indictments, the white house are saying this was deliberate just before trump meets Putin in Helsinki. Too right it was. Mueller has given trump detailed information (that we know he doesn't read) proving what the russians did and why the meeting with Putin is dangerous. Whats the betting he comes out and tries to relax sanctions again.

As for Roger Stone, we know from last year that he was in contact with the russian hackers, that he got the stolen Clinton campaign data worth millions of dollars from Guccifer 2.0 (via a Florida Republican consultant) and, it seems, knew the information was stolen property when he got it.

Before she was told Trump was a nasty man she probably had no interest in US politics.

Just to quantify this, as I know they'll be some doubters, from the indictments

72. In or around July 2016, KOVALEV and his co-conspirators hacked the website of a stateboard of elections (“SBOE 1”) and stole information related to approximately 500,000 voters, including names, addresses, partial social security numbers, dates of birth, and driver’s license numbers.

This is a reference to the Illinois state voter registration database. The state has been very open about the breach it suffered in 2016.

Section 75, this continued in Oct 2016 as they sought to interfere in the important states. The Russians continued targeting state and county offices as late as October 28, 2016, per the indictment, when the Russians “visited the websites of certain counties in Georgia, Iowa, and Florida to identify vulnerabilities."

39 states hacked?
https://www.vox.com/world/2017/6/13/15791744/russi...

The senate intelligence committee were the ones to claim russians had access to hack the voter databases

And you make your statement based on what information? She could be studying politics or modern history at Uni before all you know.

Precisely. Regardless, it's a pretty clever soundbite, even if Trump probably wouldn't get it.

On the day of the indictment of Russian intelligence officers, in the wake of a NATO summit of discord, this clip from the recent past is prophetically illuminating.

on the other hand she might be doing something useful at collage and is just having a laugh with some mates, while becoming a pharmacist, doctor or engineer ,
hell in few years after trump has left a rather good legacy might admit she and her mates were just a little bit foolish ...

I honestly don’t understand how someone can be mental enough to think this is possible based on what he has done so far. It’s staggering.
