I think Andrew Adonis is clutching at straws a little there.

I'd be interested in hearing what Banks has to say.

Adonis is a bell end. A weapons grade one if those pictures at the boo hoo rally are anything to go by.

His calling out to silence anyone is classic hypocrisy.

He is the poster child for Brexit Derangement Syndrome, having done nothing since the vote but sit on twitter and rant about the outcome in his #FBPE echo chamber. The fact he has a peerage and a position of political influence despite never being elected by the public probably helps explain why he loves the idea of the EU so much

I suppose that now the March 2019 deadline is approaching, there are some who might be getting mighty twitchy, more extreme, and possibly even frenetic in their efforts to keep their chosen path on track. Interesting times lay ahead smile

People like Darren Grimes got caught breaking the rules.
Grimes' case hasn't come to court yet, and who are these 'people like?'.
Grimes has a number of cases against him and some of them have been finished. He was fined £20k because he and Vote Leave (fined £61k, they’re one of those ‘people like’) broke this rule.

If you are designated as a lead campaign group, your spending limit is £7,000,000
Vote Leave spent up to their £7m limit and funnelled a further £700k through Grimes’ group Be Leave.

Yet again all we hear is “It doesn’t matter where the money came from, even if it was from Russia. It doesn’t matter how it was spent, even if it directly broke electoral rules. The only thing that matters is that we won.”

Leavers need to take their blinkers off for a second here. Imagine how you’d react if it had been the other way round. Be honest.

Marr trying to do his inquisitor act was a tad farcical IMO............Banks didn't seem too bothered by him.....wonder what the theme for "we must abandon Brexit" will be next week?

As I see it it was the other way round, in that not only did Remain spend way more, but they used the civil service and the state media to promote their cause, and used foreign powers to help them.

If remainers are worried about the future of the country then try having some constructive input into how we leave rather than looking for some stupid conspiracy theory or scare story to overturn the decision.
The best deal is the one we already have though.

Let's try and retain this, and then failing, limit the damage by keeping as much as we can while "leaving the EU"

Pretty much how I saw it.

If you asked me if he came out of it as appearing more or less transparent I'd say less.

Also seems to have a bit of a temper issue would be my amateur psychologist take on it - certainly doesn't come across as someone who likes to be challenged.
