It's my birthday next week and my wife was asking me what I'd like, she had previously sent me this link, but obviously with the expectation of me going - "oh that's quite cool" as opposed to "fk me I need that"

For context we regularly host games nights for 3 different groups of friends, plus an occasional lads poker night, so there is a slight flex of the term frivolous, certainly at approaching £150.

It shuffles cards and then spins and deals them out, you programme how many players - up to 8 and then off it goes and deals out the requisite number of cards.

What I didn't originally spot was that it also comes with 4 buttons, that you can use to summon a card. We often play as an 8 and mixed couples, so you just share the button.

I literally can't wait to receive it and have a play :-)

Unless you already own three of them, that s the very opposite of frivolous!

I am building up my wera tools. I have the tool checks, Allen and torx keys, 1/4 and 1/2in torque wrenches and some socket rails.

They don’t make it easy / logical to build up. The roller cab set is rubbish imo and there’s too much overlap in the sets.

But one day I will have a ‘for best’ tool cab with wera and knipex. My current tools (2 rollers and a top box, mainly beta) will look on with envy.

I know it's a bit hot at the moment but wouldn't one of those Dyson fans be cheaper? hehe

Yes, very nice. I got an XT350 a few years ago, which I eventually sold through lack of use.

Ive got loads of Wera stuff, lots of crossovers between sets though, joker self adjusting spanners are awesome.

I have a number of these things which are never darkened by actual use, I can't resist a nicely packaged bijou socket set.

Ho Lee st.

That Tomy Turbo Dashboard was an enduring favourite as a tiny Master Sway in the early 80s.

It survived some serious abuse too!

That's incredible, with box and everything.

As provided by the Wera advent calendar! My little annual treat to myself.

Which reminds me. It’s probably almost time to be looking for the 2025 version.

I have a couple of Wera bits that I use, but for me Wiha and Bahco make better tools.
