Someone who is way too into minimalism.
You missed the bit about not looking like a photoshoot
. There's also a lot more crap on my desks, pens, post it notes and random leaflets and printouts at work, random bits and pieces at home. Actually, this screen layout is my work and work from home setup. My own home computer is a Mac Mini plugged into the single main screen.e-honda said:
I am surprised the male / female connector this has stuck for so long because it's kind of sexually explicit.
It's not the sort of thing you can explain to an 8 year old really.
Imagine you were working somewhere that deals with cables and you get some 17 year old apprentices, some of them quite innocent and sheltered types and none of them are familiar with the terms and you need them to understand them.
I think most 8 year olds alreasy understand that Daddy has a male connector and mummy has a female connector, but that Daddy is her slave. There isn't one 17 year old apprentice (male, female or none binary) that would get offended by these terms. It's not the sort of thing you can explain to an 8 year old really.

Gairdaahs?! Which Scotland is this?
A more accurate pronunciation to Sassenach ears would be "gurdurs".
I was attempting to phonetically evoke the iconic advert that older readers would remember from their youth and I think I did pretty well. So if you want to argue about it then I suggest you hop in your time machine like some kind of spoddy Terminator and seek out the creators of the advert. A more accurate pronunciation to Sassenach ears would be "gurdurs".
