On another note for those of a similar age to me who were clubbing in the mid-90s, this is one of the best compilation albums around.

Not too serious and cheesy in parts, but absolute banging tunes from that era of nightclubs.

Amazing playlist for parties, lost count of the people who have asked for the name of it over the years as it's one of those albums that just gets everybody singing along / dancing / reminiscing about the good old days.

Amazon link below but can be found cheaper on Discogs etc

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Dance-Tip-95-Various/dp/B...

If you don't recognise the songs on the tracklist, you will when you hear them

Highly recommended hehe

Ha!

This was my first ever CD that I got for Christmas at the same time as my CD walkman. I've still got the CD in my office.smile

I've read about 10 booked in my entire life but even I think that's stunning.

(Yes I'm absolutely judging the books by their covers)
There's a very similar, cheaper set (which will be even cheaper when they have a 50% discount sale tomorrow) which comes in a regular slipcase, and isn't signed: https://harpercollins.co.uk/products/the-lord-of-t...

New to the thread. Forever buying things I don't need, never use but really want! This weeks haul, a Chess Set that will probably never be used and a Cobra Catapult which definitely, definitely WILL be used.

I always wanted a proper catapult as a kid, probably for the best that my parents wouldn't let me have one though!!

Just use the catapult to launch things at the chess pieces or launch the chess pieces themselves lol!

Crikey! Did you (or your parents) pay for the damage?

Well, it's my favourite book, it's signed by the illustrator, and it will nicely complement the other four editions I already have of the same book(s). wink

That's not my favourite bridge.

Nor is it signed.
