Law abiding citizen.

Although you could argue Gérard butler murdered many, the scumbag lawyer who caused him to do this won in the end.
Annoys the piss out of me!
The ending cometely ruins the film for me. Gerard Butler's character should have had the last hurrah. And seeing Jamie Foxx's smug face at the end. furious

Re films where the baddies win, Life - featuring Ryan Reynolds

Also the nuke going off in sum of all fears surprised me a little. So used to the timer stopping at 00:01

Special bulletin. Was amazed when it unfolded the way it did.

As for the Irishman, I didn't see a win there. I saw him sitting in prison, having his door left open, like his old boss, lonely, with a totally alienated daughter who hates him for being a killer and then killing the one friend of his she liked. I felt the message was generally "sure, gangster life was glamorous , but, they are cold blooded horrible murderous bds and all end up dead or locked up.

And who said Schindler's list? That was about personal sacrifice , bravery and generosity overcoming the most dreadful scenario possible.

Avengers Infinity War, Thanos wins. (Spoiler alert?! hehe )

Brightburn. The whole film is 'What if Superman was bad?'. I think it's still up in the air but it might spin off a 'bad superhero' universe with evil equivalents of Wonderwoman and Aquaman.

Deep Throat.
No, I haven't seen it, but all the wrong people seem to have "won".

Oh man, so recent!
The 70s is is rich ground for nihilistic endings, and as the OP pointed out, horrors (so many, are half all horrors, baddie endings?), but down the list I reckon political and gangster films are fertile ground. Action/Adventure films, it's rarer for baddie win endings.
