I do like the look of these, but every time I see the estate, I just wish they hadn't bothered with the additional large'P E U G E O T' lettering just below the rear window. It already has the lion badge and the extra, unnecessary writing detracts from the clean and uncluttered styling.

I dont think its ugly, part of it is the badge will ruffle some feathers... plus its an EV and all that goes with that, plus familiarity breeds contempt, they are everywhere, I expect to kids now its like the Cortina was in 1982 when I was 11.
Its not badly proportioned, its fairly modern and sleek but I think it lacks detail, suppose some would call it minimalistic but really, its a bit bland and sort of unfinished looking. Not saying to festoon it in chrome, vents or anything, but it just seems to be missing something. Always think its like a car from an old video game that spawns too much and has a low polygon count to protect the frame rate.
I work in the auto design industry and like to think I posses a decent pair of eyes. But, as someone else said, design is incredibly subjective and everyone’s opinions matter even if they are different. (But I agree IMO the Tesla is incredibly bland, and lacks any feeling of character)
Funnily enough, the thing about your post that caught my attention was you said it isn’t badly proportioned. That I would absolutely disagree with and would happily argue about till the cows come home!

The Prius is not that bad, if you like that sort of slippery style. The CH-R though, that hit every branch of the ugly tree bar the one that finished the Multipla off.

I see a lot of Peugeot 308 SW (Estates) around mainly as Police panda cars and get confused as to whether it's a Pug or a larger Seat.
It's a milestone leap in styling and quality compared to the previous dull bland generations.
It's interesting you say that as I think it's the worst designed car in Peugeot's otherwise brilliant range at the moment. The hatchback looks great, but the SW just has the proportions wrong, especially at the rear, always looks underwheeled and too much metal over the rear arch. 508 SW a much more resolved design IMO. It's a milestone leap in styling and quality compared to the previous dull bland generations.
