Simon Le Bon was into Ducatis in the pre-916/Monster era. He had an 851, followed by an 888 IIRC.

Did anyone say Arnie "the Terminator"?
I guess you'd also have to give Piers Brosnan a mention (James Bond film where he rides the BMW bike)

Ewan McGregor has already had a mention early in the thread but let's not forget his pal Charley Boorman (who participated in the Paris Dakar and has considerably more off road experience than Ewan).

No prizes for guessing which book I am reading at present!

While loitering at a local Honda dealer and café, a lovely bright red panigale pulled up, ridden by... Paul Hollywood! I knew he was into cars, but it was a nice surprise to find he was into his bikes too. Seemed like a decent bloke too and chatted to our group about cars and bikes thumbup
