Face Off (was fun at the time at least...)
Con Air

Forgetting Face Off for a minute (as it's not in bold) The Rock and Con Air are two great action movies and provide really good entertainment. I know they are cheesy but that's the point. IMHO jumping sideways and shooting must happen in all action flicks! The Rock

I watched the 4th Fast and Furious last night. It's a massive improvement on 3 but then again it would be difficult not manage to improve on that.
Why is safer to be out in the open when the helicopter flies over rather than in a tunnel where it can't see you?

)Free Solo
Documentary about climbing god Alex Honnolds attempt to free solo (without a rope) the 3000ft Yosemite granite cliff El Capitan in 2017. I could barely stand to watch, particularly the "boulder problem". I defy anyone to not be gripping the sofa whilst watching
Awesome film. 9/10 for me

It's also being premiered on National Geographic channel on Sunday night at 8pm, make sure to record it folks.
Serenity (free sky movie now in cinemas)
Matthew Mcconananagahy and Anne Hathaway so promising start but it continues the trend of Sky and Netflix produced movies being utter gash.
Thought it was going to be a decent murder thriller with twists but then spins into some mystic Sixth Sense nonsense
Garbage - avoid

A whopping 3.1/10 on imdb

I think you're being harsh on the 3 ok (ish) flicks though...
Raising Arizona
Red Rock West
Leaving Las Vegas
Bad Lieutenant
Joe
Matchstick men
Adaptation
Lord of War
8MM
Wild at Heart
Bringing out the dead
Mandy (controversial)
For pure entertainment sake...
The rock
Face Off (was fun at the time at least...)
Con Air
His career does appear to have glimmers of hope shine through every now and again but I agree most of his work is complete turd nowadays.
Started watching between worlds recently.... Opening shot had me thinking that it looked promising just from the feel of it, however it abruptly nose dived straight off the cliff of awesome into the pit of bile. Promptly turned it off.
You named the 3, the others are stool water, at least you omitted the mandolin utter over rated s

Nothing to do with Sky I believe, just the usual 'film will bomb in the cinemas so we will sell distribution rights immediately' scenario. It's the new straight to video.Netflix badge anything they scoop up like that as an 'Original' even though they may have had nothing to do with the funding or production of the film..
Netflix have a really been doing loads of stuff, especially with films, like not even advertising them properly, to see how many people watch them.
A crap film can actually draw in a lot of viewers , which is why Adam Sandler got 250 million USD to make films. Netflix have a massive budget but quality isn't necessary first priority, it is a different way of doing films.

Yep it's incredible. Fortunate enough to see it on the big screen and I had sweaty palms for about an hour! It's also being premiered on National Geographic channel on Sunday night at 8pm, make sure to record it folks.
I'm not quite sure what made me want to see it again, but I re-watched Children of Men last night. It's a simple enough short story with only a few characters, which I do like. It is almost more about the the dystopian world playing out behind the story. It got a lot of praise for the cinematography, though I'm no expert on long shots. It's very good. 8/10.
