This is the latest edition to my hangar of planes,
An Avicraft Panic ARTF
Powered by a Saito 90 Twin with a 12x6 prop - which if you're in the know is a little small but it works fine (10,200 rpm!!!)
On board glow
Digital servo's throughout on a 6v rx pack
Runs on 30% nitro fuel (Bekra Heli fuel)
Colour scheme by me after 6 stellas on evening, they now come in plain white for those who have been put off by the mutli coloured version!!

Just moved house and managed to rearrange some of my 1000's of models. Never enough room to display them all but I have now updated my on show collection see below...
The full cabinet - just a small number of my favourites

The top two shelves showcase just some of the Corgi 1:50 scale Eddie Stobart trucks I have. In fact I have now got every model ever produced by Corgi in the Eddie Stobart livery, 100's but these are just some...

Next two shelves contain some very special models indeed. I have got a very special Exoto Williams F1 car, personally signed by Nigel Mansell (Not a GPL one) this is 'personally' signed to me from Nigel himself. You'll also see that I have every 1:43 scale in the Minichamps Senna Racing Collection and have started to collect the larger 1:18 scale ones now...

Here you'll see three of the 5 1:18 scale Senna cars I now have, 2 Lotus' and a McLaren, starting to build this collection now. I also have a resin model of the stunning statue that now appears along side the Imola circuit where Senna lost his life. To finish off the Senna theme, although not a model! The full scale replica Williams Renault Rothmans race helmet makes for an impressive impression in the cabinet

The last three shelves revert back to my Eddie Stobart collection. A lot more 1:50 scale trucks, both old and new liveries. I've added some scale 'loads' to some of the models and will be looking for some interesting scale loads for the other flatbeds too. You can also see the very special Gold Plated 1:64 scale truck.

This is a great little resin sculpture I found off eBay, where I get most of my buys these days. I love the way they've captured the fabric curtainside pulled away to reveal the load (something Corgi are now doing in their 1:50 range so hoping for an Eddie version next year)

Finally a closer shot of one of my best ever buys off eBay. This 5 piece limited edition set to celebrate Stobart's 30th Anniversary was probably in the region of £120-150 new when released. I got this Mint version (even with all the wing mirrors still in their bags) off eBay for under £50!!!!!! That's why, if you are prepared to wait and watch you can get some real bargains off eBay

Enjoy...

Very impressive.
I like the way you have displayed the Senna collection.
Many thanks I like the way you have displayed the Senna collection.

It's only a temp fix using my son's lego bricks! I intend on making a more robust and stable set of steps in MDF to show them off better, trouble is I need a fifth step to add the extra one's which are hidding behind the 1:18 scale Williams cars... and for those new ones still to be released, quite an impressive collection.
I had the original set, along with Certificate, but when Minichamps started to add to them it kind of nulified the Certificate so I don't bother displaying that with the models, just gathering dust in the loft somewhere.
Just wish I could have another 4 of these display cabinets in the house to show off some more of my collection, one day...

1/72 scale PzIV H & Tiger 1
Blimey, 1/72! Good job! I`m enjoying reliving my childhood with some Matchbox 1/76 military, the ones that came with diorama bases, and can appreciate, but not approach, your level of detailing! Excellent finishing!ETA: Nice Griff BTW!
Another travel agent resto, consisting vac-formed acrylic fuselage halves with carved wooden tail assembly and wing stubs. Parts of the cast plaster and fabricated sheet plastic interior had shaken loose over time and the whole thing had to be cut open to rebuild the fittings, including reattaching 2 individual headrest wings per seat: (apologies for poor pics)
Just about finished:

In progress:

As with every proper display model I`ve been lucky enough to examine, from pre-war to `70s, carved wood to hollow and cast alloy, to this vac formed acrylic assembly, the original workmanship is stunning; no corners cut on form or finishing, true model makers` art.

Ta, I was very happy with the completed job, as was it`s owner - shame I`ll have to fly half-way round the world to see it again! The BA archive/museum at Heathrow has a fabulous collection of period models - well worth booking an appointment to see if you haven`t been. It`s run by volunteers and not generally open to the public, but has amazing stuff worth the effort to try to see.
Haven`t been to Duxford since I was a lad, but now I have my own lad, there`s no excuse not to!
