Californication this is one of the funniest shows I have seen, well written the camera shots are great watch it you’ll see for yourself , been putting it off for a while because of the x files ,but it is a must see be warned not ideal for young ones .
It is excellent. Borderline soft porn mind you but the writing and cinematography is excellent. I really like Duchovny as an actor. tobinen said:
Watched Operation Odessa as per earlier posts.
I liked it and what a crazy story. How that Tony is still alive I'll never know.
Really enjoyed it - the audaciousness of it all.....I liked it and what a crazy story. How that Tony is still alive I'll never know.
Also - Wild Wild West - it's compelling enough but I can't help feeling it's about 2 episodes too long.
Lost in Space - can't say I'm hooked (2 episodes in), we'll give it another try tonight I think but it feels like one of those you end up drifting away from half way through the series.

Monty Python getting a big addition this week then.
And Life of Brian and Holy Grail look absolutely superb on a 4K TV (supposedly they are HD quality), I've only watched them on VHS or downloaded, but the quality Netflix has them on is on another level. And they are more relevant and funny today than ever.
Not see it mentioned yet so a quick plug for The Alienist - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4604612/?ref_=fn_al_t...
"Crime reporter John Moore meets with psychologist Dr. Laszlo Kreizler to investigate a serial killer in New York during the late 19th century."
Only a couple of episodes in so far but really enjoying it. Strong cast, written and directed by the guys behind True Detective and Drive and some cracking production values
Well worth a look..

Seasons 1-4 is up there for me a some of the best TV I've watched, genuinely funny and well written. I wasn't as enthralled with the reboot seasons but they were still a pretty good light-hearted watch. SWoll said:
