Jack Russell terriers are horrible, hateful, snappy, noisy unpleasant little buggers. I wouldn't give one house room. If all JRt's disappeared overnight it would be a bloody good thing.
Im not sure that would be an unpopular opinion. They always make me smile when I see them.

Its very fashionable on ph to complain about things that are popular.
People like to think that by choosing something less popular makes them a more interesting person.
It’s very fashionable to do so anywhere and everywhere, I’d say. People like to think that by choosing something less popular makes them a more interesting person.
Anybody trying to seem interesting by not liking something so extremely popular must be a parody.

Bigfoot is an existing primate species, very close to that of humans. I've never yet met anybody who will even entertain the possibility, but still I persist.
Beat that.
Is there just one? Or a group(s)?Beat that.
Are they the last common ancestor?

I think they are a close relative of ours and seem to share many of our traits, such as almost upright walking, noses like ours, speech is used for communication at least in some cases. They are good throwers, they have become largely nocturnal to avoid us I would say. They are very watchful and have lookouts posted during daylight for human presence.
It is a huge subject, with many nut-jobs claiming supernatural connections, alien connections and all sorts of other toss (the "woo" as it known).
I believe they are a genuine species which manage to get by, in no small part due to the joke status of the subject amongst the general population of the human race.
If you go looking for evidence online, most of it is blindingly faked, deliberately in certain high profile cases to keep the whole subject at derision level. It may have taken 2 years for me to decide I'd seen enough to form my opinion, which could be changed in future but it's hard to prove a negative.
Thanks for asking.

To add to the above, just a short account, nice little story. At least fun what ever you believe.

Since then I have visited many EU countries and the ease of movement between countries is fantastic, I also didn't realise how much we rely on the EU for regulations etc. The evidence of Russians meddling in the referendum sealed it for me. We're too interlinked with the EU to completely leave without decades of pain, and leaving any other way will still tie us to the EU but with worse terms. Better to stay in and try to improve it.

If that's a genuine question, then I think they have a total population perhaps in the tens of thousands, spread across North America and they they are in extended family groups, which to an extent migrate around according to their needs.

I haven't really delved deep enough into it to get past the grainy footage, monologues on conspiracy sites and like you say the supernatural meandering. Could you post any links to the stuff you've seen that helped form your opinion? Appreciate other offline sources may have been used.
Tens of thousands in existence? I'm not sure that could be without more sightings? I do recall one guy I spoke to on a night out once who believed sasquatches lived underground, lived mainly on cave mushrooms and did their mating down there, whilst coming up to gather other foods and get a lay of the land etc.
Devil's advocate: Perhaps it's a bit like Area 51, in so far that the U.S government must love the fact that people bang on about aliens so they can get on with weapons testing et al. With the Yellowstone area the State gets to survey them in a vast, remote environment where people go with care due to the dangerous wildlife and wilderness, whereas in the meantime most of the people vocally interested don't go anywhere near the place and blog
solipsistically in crusty tee-shirts.

I've not been methodical in trawling for the 'good stuff' and so no record of my favourites, you tube seems best for sheer quantity but it's the quality that matters of course. I suppose I've been forming an internal consensus of factors which support the case for and against and I was pleasantly surprised to find when the mental results came in, so to speak, that a firm decision had formed for me on the pro side. I do have a scientific mind, not given to being off with the fairies and flights of fancy.
I like best the audio recordings of which there are many, although they are easier to fake I'd say.
Here's a nice one to go on with; https://youtu.be/wTsdbKUwenI NSFW
A decent route in would be "thinker thunker's" analysis videos, he's clever, funny, entertaining and has some good software to pick apart likely footage, it should be said he's not sitting on the fence but few if any will be who offer analysis vids.
A Welsh sounding fella known as Bigfoot Tony also does some good analysis vids.
You mention Yellowstone, thinker thunker does a breakdown of some interesting footage taken on what appears to be a group hunting some bison there, taken on webcam in winter, it pans away to film an upcoming guiser eruption when it was getting good though.
People always say why so few sightings, why no bodies, why no captures, what's to eat out in the woods anyway?
They mostly come at night, mostly. Their eyes have adapted for night, when the noise and action really begins. They have all that wilderness virtually to themselves at night.
They spend time up the trees, plenty of examples of that on vids and pics, which affords them good vantage and cover.
The bodies, where are they all? A carcass of any animal out in deep forest will not be around for long, eaten and scattered far and wide, even the bones are eaten. Some believe they bury their dead, I don't know what to think about that, there are a few vids of possible burial mounds being found here and there of well beyond human size.
So why no captures yet then? There are some instances of vids of captured creatures in Russia but could well be fake. It is proposed that certain 'authorities' in the US are aware of bigfoot's existance and are avowed to keep the subject as a joke and to obtain/commandeer by what ever means, any really good evidence that surfaces, such as a body. Such stories do abound, and there is a logic to it; the american logging industry for one wont be wanting bigfoot recognised as legit, very bad for business.
They are probably as clever as us (in a Ray Mears kind of way) but they make their living in nature, so they have the wild animal's instincts and skills to sustain them. It is claimed they can run down deer, wild boar etc, when hunting and that's good eating alone, leave aside all the edibles growing under and above ground and water much of the year. Their hunting is a team effort (as seen with chimps) and corralling has been found in the form of tree trunks and brush, built up to form a natural barrier which indicate they use it to trap prey in such a way. The tree structures such as this and many other things are always built with trunks and branches snapped not cut as a human would. So often whole tree trunks with rootball are found in odd places with no sign of the hole they came out of, things like this found deep out in the wilds.
Sorry for the huge ramble, my mum lost her battle against ovarian cancer last night, I'm exhausted and this subject is a great distraction.

Condolences for your loss. Distractions are one of the means to get through what people call healing = time.

Thanks for the info, I'll check out the link and the guys you mentioned. In all honesty in a yes or no situation I'd go for a no - they don't exist. However on a broader train of thought part me thinks well this is what a conspiracy is meant to be, a tiny proportion of a populace in the know; incongruous yet fitting in to everything else - agents of the state and sasquatches alike.

Seems the wrongful convictions were largely proved as wrong by forensic evidence. If the perpetrator DNA was found inside the corpse and blood all over it, then it might be reasonable to assume he's guilty.
Admittedly, if other forensic evidence is not quite so cut and dry then surely in those cases a death sentence cannot be admitted.
It's not exactly rocket surgery.
