I saw a Mitsubishi Colt in Croatia last week, apparently they've been on sale since 2023:

They really haven't tried very hard to disguise its origins, even the bit under the badge is still diamond shaped.
I do know of these but I've never noticed the front badge, it is really bad and just screams "can't be arsed"

That is odd. The bonnet is the same with the cutout around the badge, the grille is different but it's still the diamond panel behind the Mitsubishi badge. Is it there because that's where Renault put the sensors for auto cruise control etc.?

They are behind the square panel above the numberplate.

They've done a better job with the ASX that's really a Captur, at least with the front.

The back is a Captur with Mitsubishi badging.

Same with the Colt rear, Clio with Mitsubishi badges.

Isn't it the front-facing camera? If you look at the bottom of the protrusion, there's a small bump which looks like it could be a lens.

Yes it could be a lens.

I did the AI thing, asked for an image of a 2024 Clio, then asked to change the front to a Mitsubishi design.

Yes it could be a lens.

I did the AI thing, asked for an image of a 2924 Clio, then asked to change the front to a Mitsubishi design.

Not much progress in 900 years!

Resisting the chance to revive "TONK"...

A bit of googling reveals Tank is a platform by Great Wall Motors (better known for those cheap stty pick-up trucks that seemed to be everywhere for about as long as the warranty lasted).

They also have a platform named LEMON. What an auspicious name for a car hehe
