Make sure you do most of the decision-making on the two days each week that June Sarpong can't be arsed to turn up.

Russell T Davies returns as showrunner, and it will be a co-production between the BBC and production company Bad Wolf. Two of the people who set up Bad Wolf are Jane Tranter (who commissioned the revived Doctor Who in her role as BBC’s Head of Drama Serials back in 2003) and Julie Gardner who worked as an executive producer alongside Russell on Doctor Who.

Hopefully this will mark a return to the higher standards of his era.
What with this and the fan fiction scripts recently submitted by Mrs McNlligan of the West Midlands official Dr Who Group we will maybe see some sterling work on screen

It really is Mrs McNlligan is one f the very best writers and she isn't afraid to explore the inner turmoil that a Timelord undoubtedly suffers from

The new series starts on Halloween night October 31st (Sunday)
It's a six part story not self contained episodes . It is subtitled Flux

In a press release the blurb may be something like this

"The Flux is coming. It's bringing with it the Sontarans, Weeping Angels, creatures known as the Ravagers and enemies from across the Universe.
The Sontarans and Weeping Angels are especially dangerous as they realise that white man privilege affected their destiny

"This is the fight of our lives.

The Weeping Angels Acting Union have already lodged a complaint. It's members feel it's unfair that the heavy accents, and potential covid infected spray from the scouse one in particular, is making it difficult to follow the story and hit their cues on screen...

Teaser that's been on BBC1 is here...

I showed that to my eldest who rolled their eyes and sighed. They are looking forwards to the series after, and return of the (hopefully) good story lines and better actors.
