i had a manual '07 325i SE in the same colour which I fitted M-sport seats and door panels to - it's easy to do. I really liked it. IMO the E92 was the last really good looking BMW. Watch out for ABS reluctor rings and also the ABS pump. The pump is silly money from BMW but can be repaired by companies like ECU testing for a few hundred quid and a week with the car parked up waiting for them to do it.
Hmmm, I fancy one of these. please post if you spot one.

Best of both, an A8 with a 6l motor , and a dysentery coloured inside. And the mysterious solar panel sunroof! Almost in budget.

Congrats on the new car paulguitar!

Loving the Saab 900 chat, I’ve always coveted one and despite tons of other cultural references I always think of this:

Mind you, I also loved its starring role in the film ‘Moving’ (1988) with Richard Pryor.

Please stop posting 900s! A useable one is heading beyond 10k here (nl) and this isn’t helping my resolve that that’s a silly amount of money!

Ventilated seats too, it'd waft it about nicely.

Didn't a Saab 900 cabriolet feature in another movie, the one which started life as a book about a record shop, I am sure it was Tony Parsons, I don't know. Anyway, there was a (somewhat unlikely it seemed to me) "romantic coupling" in the front seat (but on reflection, all romantic couplings seem pretty unlikely to me these days). Come on, it's the weekend, surely we can have a picture?

Also a cab in the wine-drinkers film with Paul Giamatti: Sideways I think?

High mile stinky diesel, but haven't seen this shape 9-5 for anything like this price before. Probably because its a high mile stinky diesel.

Four an arf gets you one with sub 100k on. Plate reads "DU11" though. May be indicative..

Not at all. These are Toyota Corolla-like in their metronomic reliability.

You should buy it.

Agreed. I ran six of these for myself and my staff delivering Hermes parcels. No worse on maintenance and fuel than a transit connect.

Well, it’s Friday after all:

In fact I have vague recollections that she was in a Maserati after this. It's not a bad look. Especially for a Hermes delivery chick.

I have the feeling that "pit" isn't quite the right word here.

I was about to say chasm, but abyss is better.

3.2 VR6 Passat, only thing missing is sat nav.

A clean early Cayenne S, a ticking time bomb with the alusil cylinder liners.

Just over budget, an XKR in British Racing Green, with Ivory leather and sat nav.
