Lovely blue one coming up for auction. Shame no GTS interior option, but a lovely rare colour for the GTS.

Wish i had the cash!! That's stunning.

Obviously i'd have to drive it regularly which would reduce its value by £££ per mile... but i wouldn't care biggrin

Looks lovely, I remember when back in 2011/12 a new and very very low miles same colour could have been had for £60k!
Looking for a new toy/daily and that isn’t far from me to go and have a butchers, as long as the price doesn’t go crazy, certainly not going to attract the purists with no GTS interior, I dont care as want to drive it not look at it!

I'll be very surprised if it doesn't reach £90K (with commission), maybe more. Thats a 90K+ car right there. A 997 GTS unicorn.

I was the muppet who sold it frown, went it via Camerons in 2012. Needed cash for the house renovation, shame it’s not been used much!

Serious question!!!!!
Could a decent trimmer convert a plastic dash into a leather dash and make it look OEM? Would that be more expensive than finding a leather dash car in the first place?
It is one of the world’s greatest rip offs that Porsche expect buyers to pay extra for a leather dash in the various 911 GTS models.

They come up for sale, such as

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276525730589

no chrono, but you could get the fix whereby the installed chrono doesn't need the clock - as its pretty surplus to needs.

or this, with the chrono hole....

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165838524492

then the lower dash set

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/166830541090

Or brand new

https://teile.com/en/porsche-parts-shop/model-911-...

Unsure on the installation but you'd have to remove/fit anyway with either option of course. Patina wise it'll look more correct in my opinion than a brand new recovering. Probably cheaper and can be sure its the OEM leather.

Thanks. It would end up being quite dear.

By the time you have factored in the door updates to match then it’s probably £10k to retrofit

Surprised by that as buckets would, in my opinion, be the perfect seat in a 997 GTS.

Or sell the seats separately as that is much more profitable.

I can recommend DesignLS (near Cobham) who do a lot of Porsche interiors.
Well within their capabilities, but not likely to be cheap.
Having said that, in my experience they are definitely competitive on costs.

Very nice. Interesting choice of blue colour for the calipers. You tempted?
