Can't believe no one has metioned the new Muppets film yet. A good natured, creative and very funny film with fantastic and witty music from Brett 'Flight of the Conchords' Mckenzie, by any comparison not just against childrens' films.

Other than that the Toy Stories are brilliant too. My girls tend to reach for TS2 more than the others.

The Mike Myers' Cat in the Hat film has some genuine belly laugh moments as well.

There is no option but eBay - they sellers selling the uboxed seconds are ok, and if you get a few at once the postage isn't so bad.

We still only have "wooden Sally" and no Rip Clutchgonski, but I think (hope) this is our lot!

It's taken her 3 years to get this collection - a mixture of ones I was bought as a joke present (they started the obsession I think), eBay, Asda (they had Grem, Acer and Professor Z in the sale a few months back: supermarkets seem to occasionally get a few weird ones in, our local Tesco has Petrov Trunkov at the moment) and Toys R Us (the wooden ones)

Good luck!
You should get some trucks, Mac is very cool biggrin

I've been trying to teach our two year old what cars they all are, we go to alot of classic American/Hot Rod shows and as soon as he spots a '59 Impala he knows it's Ramone. There is a 996 and Fiat 500 down our road and Sally and Luigi are greeted every morning smile He thinks that Snot Rod is a Camaro rather than a Challenger though as he has a different model of an orange Camaro with a supercharger smile

Excellent work. I'm not sure I know what half of them are based on myself, but she always seems distinctly unimpressed if I refer to a VW camper as 'like Filmore' We have an orange pick-up truck from Poundland that plays the part of "Framone" and a red lorry from Thomas the Tank Engine that used to play Red. smile

We also have a light blue Poundland 996. She was happily calling it Sally for ages, but one day she said at breakfast, apropos of nothing, "one day you might get a real Sally. With eyes" Hence the wooden one from Toys R Us - it's the only Sally I've ever seen for sale.

She also had a cheap Ferrari thing that she referred to as 'pretend McQueen' for a while when real McQueen was lost in action. It's still "pretend McQueen" now, even though only the metal body remains. It's now a "costume" that Francesco uses to "dress up as McQueen" It's a shame they're all too wide for her Hotwheels track.

<end tedious dad stories>

Sorry about that chaps.

All Pixar films
Megamind
Despicable Me
Monsters vs. Aliens
The Pirates! in an Adventure with Scientists
The Reef
Racing Stripes
Tron and Tron Legacy

And do the Johnny English films count as kids' films? Those are very popular in our household as well.

I forgot How to Train Your Dragon - brilliant film! Diary of a Wimpy Kid 1 and 2 are very popular in our household, too - for the older children, though.

I think I have seen 'The Muppets' about 100 times now, but it's not all that bad... It's my daughters treat when she has been good and she loves it (she is only 2!).

All I have to does say, if you do X then I'll put 'Frog' on! 60% of the time is works every time!
