Films you like - not what everyone else does!

Leaving Las Vegas is a truly monumental film, excellent choice Jools.
Clerks and Lake Placid purely for the dialogue, they are films that I would enjoy if I was blind.
I am very much interested by a new film thats just out at the moment called 'Coffee and Cigarettes'
Its loads of people talking about drinking coffee and smoking cigarettes.
The juxtapositions are quite marvellous. One of the scenes has two of the Wu Tang Clan and Bill Murray which is sure to be fall down funny.

I see a number of votes for the Princess Bride, many classic lines, and the best sword fight in any film both left and right handed! Pure Genius!

Oh

And
The Thomas Crown Affair
The Shawshank Redemption
True Romance (The forgotten Tarantino movie)
And slightly more main stream but still vastly underrated
The 5th Element
Mars Attacks
Galaxy Quest
And I agree re the Bond movies (whoever said that).
Kind Hearts and Coronets - just love Sir Alec
Scanners - nostalgia central from the days when my pals and I would rent a stack of "horror" movies and scare ourselves stupid (Dario Argento films also score highly for me for the same reason)
The Wizard of Oz - still as magical now as the first time I saw it
Gimme an "F" - truly dreadful, cheesy American teen-cheerleading film that I WISH I could get a copy of from somewhere
Imitation of Life - no-one did glamour like Lana Turner IMO
The Blues Brothers - probably my all-time favourite film

The "Tony" Blair Witch Project. Most people seemed to hate it but I thought it was great.
I'd go along with that. It gave my mate motion sickness (

I'd also add Twin Town to the list. Awesome film. I must have seen it at least 6 times now, but it still cracks me up every time.
As they say in Llandow, ciao for now!

Just remembered
No Mans Land
(Charlie Sheen, rich bored bloke who nicks motors for fun, then the undercover cop who's sent to bring him in gets taken in by the lifestyle and joins in)
I'm with you on that one, great film, even better if you like Porsche's.
In no particular order:
The Usual suspects - fantastic twisty plot
Ghost in a Shell - awesome Manga film
Highlander - the origional cheesy best
Aliens - serious action film
Predator - Ditto
The Hitcher - A decent scary film
Braveheart - Mel having ago at us brits again

The Good, the Bad and the Ugly - Clint is great
The Abyss - wierdy aliens, mad marine dude

Bladerunner - Is Mr. Ford a replicant?
And others, I love films

Have you got any more of those mushrooms boys? They do give 'im a good relief...
"If my heart wasn't as big as a rugby ball, I wouldn't be sinking pennies into a slag heap like this, but I f**king loves it!"
"I knows you do, Bryn, I knows you do!"
This could go on forever - there are so many classic quotes from that film. Some good reviews here:
