I reckon physical labour is what you need, 6 blokes, a few ways it could be done

Why is nothing simple frown
You've bought a Pizza Oven for your garden, excuse my impertinence but I fear this may be a complexity of your own making or karma for a rather over inflated desire to stretch the bounds of a simple life.

If there is room two scaffold poles and for strong men could do the job but looks like they'd struggle through the gate.

I think this is the way to do it, at only ~450kg it is manageable with a suitable carrying mechanism and a few strong blokes.

I think you're missing an option here - helium balloons...
A quick back of the fag packet calculation shows that you'll get circa 4 kg of lift from a 2m diameter weather balloon, so you'll only need 112 of them if the oven is 500 kg including strops etc. Or 178 balloons if it's 700kg.

You can buy the weather balloons and helium online, or just swap the 112 weather balloons for 94,000 regular helium party balloons.

If you use hydrogen instead of helium, you can use half as many balloons smile

This is minor. Visit the local gym find a few of the big guys, they are usually the ones eating nails for breakfast and ask them. They would love it.

You say it is on a pallet? Piece of cake.

If it's 470kg as opposed to 700kg it's all about lifting straps & a few mates.
6 of you with a resonable level of fitness should be able to do that.

Another vote here for hydrogen. Then, light up a cigarette and admire the good work smokin

I'm normally one to just get on with these sorts of things, but even I'm wondering where you stand liability-wise if someone gets a bit crushed moving this. The dock probably. Certainly something to consider anyway.

Great thread, you're so dead when she realises you can't move it!

The scaffold pole doesn't have to go through the lifting eyes, just use straps to get the poles to shoulder height. You only need it 2 inches off the floor when moving it.

I like it. Line the oven up, then use a Nerf gun to shoot one balloon at a time until the oven is lowered into place.

Making it a swaying mass... And that's before you have to get it over the edge of the steps.

I bought a kitchen on eBay and shifting the island and separate 200+kg granite slab between 4 of us was marginal and we didn't have a steep flight of steps to contend with.

Get a compact telehandler into the garden then use it to shift the oven off the top of the steps and into place.

The idea above of building a scaffolding frame work from the top of the hill to the landing location, then some proper rigging gear, chain blocks, strops, shackles would be the winner for me I think.

Order a ton of bagged sand from Jewsons to be delivered to your house. It will be delivered with a hiab with brick grab. Drop the driver a blue one and problem solved? Well at least to get it to the lower level anyway.
