I didn't enjoy Westworld.

I did enjoy Person Of Interest, immensely.

Only fools and horses is not funny

Worst ‘comedy’ ever to disgrace our screens.

Only liked by people who think EastEnders is high art.

Jackie Brown was Tarantino's best movie.
I had forgot about that one, it is pretty good. I was just about to post that basically everything Tarantino has done post-Reservoir Dogs has been crap. That is especially true of Pulp Fiction, which was basically incoherent rambling. Kill Bill was an utterly predictable gore-fest with no thought or imagination.

I've watched the "Big Lebowski" twice and attempted a third sitting, but turned it off. Still don't get the admiration for it. Boring and unfunny.

I think it's just over-rated. As is 'The League of Gentlemen'.

Is that reference to something they say on the programme?

Hilarious, indeed.

Not at all. Lost in translation.
My comment was in agreement and aimed at the "comedy" genius of LoG.

Return of the Jedi is my favourite Star Wars film.

Roger Moore is my favourite Bond (mainly because it's the Bond I grew up with, The Sky Who Loved Me is my all time favourite Bond film.

Western and gangster movies are boring, all of them.

I'd take a US setting for most movies over a British one almost every time, just something a little more romantic about it.
ROTJ and Moonraker are my fave of the genres - probably because they were the first ones I saw as a kid at the cinema.

(moonraker had lasers too)

For clarity, I was (mis-)quoting LoG where one of the characters runs a shop in which customers are made to feel uncomfortable by the declaration "This is a local shop! For local people!".
I don't get it either, and am only aware of the scene due to colleagues banging on about it like it's Four Candles for the 21st century.
