The A110 nearly passed me by "because Renault". It was only after accidentally driving one (having already tested the Emira, Cayman and 4C) that it suddenly made complete sense.
This really is a swiss army knife of a coupe: lightness, agility, feel, compliance for B roads, storage/comfort for touring and an edge for track driving. It's just so versatile and capable in all areas.
What a brilliant thing.
That's the impression I get; the A110 is 6+ years old yet the proportion of people ("soft enthusiasts" included) who aren't aware of the A110 or the Alpine brand is still very high. Modestly changing the characteristics probably wouldn't have generated more sales; if the guy/girl with £65k and a notion of wanting a sports car (let's be serious - a Porsche...) isn't aware an alternative exists, what does it matter how it changes gear?
But somehow I can't see people that clueless buying anything other than a Porsche!

Any one have experience with the second hand market with these?
If they have trouble selling new, then my fear is it taking months & months to move on if I get tired of one...

I had a 2020 Legende in alpine blue for just over 3 years. Absolutely faultless in that time , did 11k miles in it. Sold due to increasing demands from teenage kids needing ferrying about which made a second car with 2 seats impossible to sustain.
Sold it with no problems in December last year at a good price ( back to the dealer ).
They are lovely cars, very comfy for a sports car, very simple interiors with no frills at all, quick without being silly. I am 6 ft 4 and I also had loads of room in it.
I really like these. A rare sight on the roads but on the occasions I have spotted one I’ve always liked what I see, they look better on the road than in pictures I think.
There’s been some cracking deals on these recently (0% PCP & a decent discount) & had my circumstances been different & I had the need for a new motor I reckon I could’ve been slightly tempted. Hopefully retiring in a few years & I’ll have a splurge then, a A110 will definitely be on the list.

You'll find that car is sold.
We were wondering how it will look on European roads, touring with my fire orange 110s 🤔.

Had mine for almost 5 years and 34000 miles, never missed a beat, So much useable fun and very affordable running cost. ( except the paint which is liquid yellow and I did after buying the car in standard white). Only gripe is interface is pants ( although newer models have apple car play)
If you have chance to own one I don’t think you’ll regret it

I love it. If I was spending about £55k on a car this would be high on the list.
That shade of green might not be my choice, but I applaud the original owner for choosing the colour they wanted, not the least offensive resale option.
55k also buys you a new rare GB product, which is also way lighter then a Alpine and has butterfly doors. That shade of green might not be my choice, but I applaud the original owner for choosing the colour they wanted, not the least offensive resale option.
Wells Vertige.
And I presume the company will be dead soon.

It kills me they didn't offer this as an option, the only thing I would have taken instead of the Emerald Green.

For me probably a gt, with seats to be adjusted as my back needs, Some comfort
and bit less track focussed, as i go maybe once a year or even once per 2 years and still would be faster/more fun
than most cars from the 300hp bracket.
The missing manual is a problem... The missing opening roof is a problem. Both just for my taste.
Moving me towards the boxster gts. Which is some 20k more in starting price, but after lets say 5 years,
there wont be much of a difference what it really cost you over that time..
There will be one coming as EV in 2025 i think. Looking forward to see that and try it.
If they do same great job in lightness for the EV, the missing manual wont count any more
and who knows, maybe convertible/roadster coming...

Elise is a better sports car, Boxster has open top and manuel. A110 is astonishing, as you say. it straddles several needs, but not all.

But I think Creme de Cassis liqueur is named after cassis (blackberries au Francais) so the colour isn't named after the liqueur but the fruit?
Fair point, however Chartreuse is available in both green and yellow, which makes describing a colour as Chartreuse somewhat ambiguous Madsal said:
Wrap it in your perfect colour and get yourself a fantastic car! Dont shoot me if thats to expensive over there but if your buying second hand and not specing a car yourself from new then wrap it and have a blast!
If you’re going to wrap it you buy a black or grey car, not a premium for a special order paint!Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
