Why does that even matter though? The obsession with casting stereotypes about certain cars is as bizarre as it is pointless. Buy the cars that you like. If other people make assumptions about you based on that, that's their problem, not yours. It only becomes your problem if you stop doing things that make you happy because you're worried about what others might think of you. Not in my experience. As someone else said, convertibles don't tend to do so well in extreme heat and, 90% of the car people I speak to in Saudi hate EVs and have no interest in owning one.Jon_S_Rally said:

There's a bit of sand as well as utterly unpleasant heat. One imagines these are aimed at California, Monaco and the Caribbean and one for Cleethorpes?Subjectively - that's really REALLY ugly.
Not taking away from the craftsmanship and attention to detail and sheer opulence... it just looks awful to me. As a styling exercise, put a Jaecoo badge on it.... not out of place.
Also, those door mirrors... scaling everything up to minimise the visual mass impact, doesn't work. 24" wheels etc... on that road it'll look ridiculous. At least the 50m yacht for 4 people has the entire ocean to sit in. This thing has to rub shoulders with the ordinary stuff and fit in ordinary parking bays.... just a bit silly for me.

Do you really think any potential owner is going to go to Blackpool or Hull or Droitwich and need to find an ordinary sized parking bay?
I’d be a bit surprised if R.R. sold one in the U.K.

Longest convertible I could reasonably think of would be the Caddy Eldorado - which we all know are vast in the extreme if you've ever stood next to one.It is however, shorter than the Roller at 5.69m so in the flesh this thing must be HUGE!
If I could, I would. Which is precisely the point of it, although I don't think the light blue does it the justice it could.
I think you'd need to drop the roof to raise the periscope to be able to see out of the thing. I think it's great though; I think we can safely assume that Rolls Royce aren't going to go back to making sensibly sized hatchbacks like I assume they used to given some of the comments, so may as well get on board with this ludicrousness.
